World War II affected a myriad of people. When most people think of World War II, they immediately think of the Holocaust. However, the people impacted by the Holocaust are only a proportion of the total population impacted by the war as a whole. There were numerous amounts of people influenced by the war, and with each person, you get a story. Three stories that I found particularly interesting was the stories of Madeleine Albright, Ernie Pyle, and Elie Wiesel. These people are all very unique in what they accomplished in their lives, but they all made a lasting impact on society as a whole.
